Ecommerce Solution Artech partnered with PC Universe to design and develop their ecommerce offering. A solution which supports both their individual and corporate customers. Business Challenge Design and integrate an ecommerce solution to support the whole supply chain, all the way to each corporate customer's individual needs. The system has extensive functionality that is business rule driven. Technical Overview The system took about six months to design and build, with a two month parallel rollout. The Internet application is running using a ASP, COM+ architecture. The database is MS SQL Server. View the site from the link below.
Collaborative Enterprise Website Artech partnered with the Southeast Fisheries Science Center, a division of the Nation Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, in Key Biscayne Florida. Business Challenge The enterprise website will be used for community outreach programs and external collaboration between labs and other fisheries and resources. The new website is a data driven Internet Application. The site content is maintained by different department within the organization. Technical Overview Following Artech's structure approach, the project took six weeks to complete. The Internet application is running in a J2EE environment on Oracle 9iAS, JSP, BC4J. The database is Oracle 8i. As a new integrated addition to their current information systems, at the end of the project Artech successfully transitions the website administration to SEFSC personnel.
